Crafty Ladies began with the idea of making enough craft items to host a craft-and-bake sale the next fall, with proceeds going to local missions. 

The first year, we sold over $3,000 worth of craft items and baked goods, and that total continues to grow each year. The money earned has been given to mission projects within the church and to local charities, such as a women's shelter, Crisis Nursery, and the Buffalo Food Shelf. The enthusiasm for crafts has built over the years. What started as a group of 10 women has quickly grown. We now have a Crafty Men's group that we work with. Together, we have expanded our craft and bake sale and have created many strong friendships along the way.
