Meet Our Staff
Pastor Brian is a lifelong Christian and Presbyterian. He started serving as pastor of Buffalo Presbyterian Church in September of 2017. He has a B.S. in Electronic Media from Kutztown University and a Master's of Divinity from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. When he isn't immersed in the life of the church or continuing his study of theology and scripture he can be found reading a Batman comic or a sci-fi novel, kayaking, hiking, or playing with his cat. Pastor Brian currently serves as the Chair of the Buffalo Ministerial Association.
Ralph Johansen has been the organist at Buffalo Presbyterian Church since 2005. He has studied with Dean Billmeyer, Diana Lee Lucker, and Howard Don Small. Ralph is a 2007 graduate of the University of Minnesota where he received a bachelor of Music degree with a major in organ performance. He is an active member of the Twin Cities Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, as well as the Masons and the Eastern Star.
Michael is the choir director at BPC. He has been teaching music for the last 27 years. He is currently teaching 6-8 choir at Roosevelt Middle School in Blaine, MN. He is married to Dawn and has three children, Deirdra, Nick, and Emily. When he is not busy with music he enjoys gardening, playing games on his iPad, and reading.
