Weather Weaving - CAP Event
Time & Location
About the Event
We once again welcome Charlotte Pavlik, who will show us the art of weather weaving.
Weather weaving is done on a peg loom and will be a daily journal of the temperatures for each day of the year. Each temperature block, 30°-39° for example, will have a color of yarn assigned to it, you will then, weave that color for that day. Other fun additions will be, fluffy white yarn for snow and a sparkly yarn for rain. Buttons and beads can be added for special event days. This class will get you started, and with a few minutes each day you will create a piece of art that will be a colorful calendar of 2020. It's fun to use your favorite colors for your favorite temperatures.
Yarn will be provided, but if you have your own favorites, please bring them. This project will take 12 different colors. This is an enjoyable way to watch the weather.
