Coronavirus Updates

Out of care and concern for all the members of our community and due to the precautions being taken around the country in light of the Coronavirus, we are following the current State/Local guidelines regarding masking. The current MDH guidelines recommend that everyone, regardless of vaccination status wear a well-fitted mask. We are still practicing physical distancing inside the building, especially in the sanctuary. Pastor Brian will continue sending out a  bulletin and worship link every Sunday so that everyone can join in worship whether in person or from home.

While this has been a time of increased social isolation it doesn't have to be one of spiritual and emotional isolation. With the many and various methods of communication that we have available we encourage you to reach out, not just to family and friends, but to those in our congregation and community who might live alone or be more vulnerable during this time. Be praying for everyone affected by this situation; especially those who are ill, healthcare providers and those working in hospitals and nursing homes, and those whose jobs and incomes are greatly affected.

We also strongly advise everyone to continue following the recommendations from the CDC, WHO, and Minnesota Department of Health, including the following:

  • Frequently wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not readily available use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.

  • Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or use the inside of your elbow.

  • Stay home if you can, especially when sick.

  • Wear a mask when in public indoor settings, especially if you have not been vaccinated.

  • Maintain a physical distance of at least 6 feet from people you don't live with.

 Don’t fear, because I am with you;
    don’t be afraid, for I am your God.
    I will strengthen you,
    I will surely help you;
    I will hold you
    with my righteous strong hand. -Isaiah 41:10
