Out of care and concern for all the members of our community and due to the precautions being taken around the country in light of the Coronavirus, we have suspended all in person gatherings of over 20 people until Sunday April 4th, 2021. Pastor Brian will continue sending out a bulletin and worship link every Sunday so that everyone can join in worship whether in person or from home, knowing that while we aren't all together in body, we are together in the Spirit.
Please look for new communication each Wednesday about ways to stay connected and care for one another during this time.
While this is a time of increased social isolation it doesn't have to be one of spiritual and emotional isolation. With the many and various methods of communication that we have available we encourage you to reach out, not just to family and friends, but to those in our congregation and community who might live alone or be more vulnerable during this time. Be praying for everyone affected by this situation; especially those who are ill, healthcare providers and those working in hospitals and nursing homes, and those whose jobs and incomes are greatly affected.
To stay up to date with information regarding the virus and its spread please check
the Minnesota Department of Health: https://www.health.state.mn.us/diseases/coronavirus/situation.html
We also strongly advise everyone to continue following the recommendations from the CDC, WHO, and Minnesota Department of Health, including the following:
Frequently wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not readily available use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or use the inside of your elbow.
Clean frequently touched objects and surfaces.
Stay home if you can, especially when sick.
Wear a mask when in public indoor settings and outdoors where physical distancing is not possible.
Maintain a physical distance of at least 6 feet from people you don't live with.
If you are looking for a way that you can volunteer during this time the Buffalo Food Shelf is in need of both volunteers and donations. Volunteer information can be found on their website. https://buffalofoodshelf.com/ We also invite you to reach out to one another as well as friends and neighbors in the community, check in with each other and pray with and for one another. If there is anything you need, please don't hesitate to contact Pastor Brian, any of the Elders, or the church office.
